Air Services Introduces New General Manager

PHOENIX, Ariz., (April 7, 2014) - Air Services Int'l., LLC (ASI) is introducing its General Manager John Gregg Jr. next week during the MRO Americas Conference & Exhibition. Air Services is exhibiting for the first time at the MRO Americas Conference in Phoenix, Arizona, April 8 - 10, Booth #3059.

Previous to joining Air Services Mr. John Gregg served nine years as founder and FAA Accountable Manager for FAA Repair Station, Jet Transport Actuators (JTA). He sold JTA to The Mel Group in 2009, and remained as Accountable Manager until fulfilling his contract in June 2013. Prior to JTA he worked as a floor mechanic, lead mechanic, inspector, auditor, sales and customer service manager, project liaison, and advisor for DynAir Tech. Mr Gregg has over twenty three years experience in the aerospace industry. Prior to entering the aerospace business, he owned and operated a Suzuki motorcycle franchise.

The turbine helicopter market is predicted to enjoy steady growth over the next 5 years (Honeywell 16th Annual Turbine-Powered Civil Helicopter Purchase Outlook) the demand for helicopter MRO services will also increase. “As many operators add new aircraft to their fleets they still need to maintain older aircraft, many of which are no longer under their original warranties” said Mr. John Gregg. “Air Services is a great partner for any Rolls-Royce M250 or Bell operator, but we provide especially great options for older aircraft. A good example is our STC for Bell 206-L1 LongRangers, which replaces the stock 250-C28 engine with the more powerful 250-C30P.

The Aviation Week MRO Americas Conference & Exhibition is the premier trade show for commercial and maintenance industry. Organized by Aviation Week the show draws over 10,000 attendees from 60 countries. The show will explore the future of aviation and defense maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) through a series of drill-down discussions and networking opportunities. The event features the industry's largest exhibition floor, which will draw 400+ solution providers to communicate actionable solutions, build contacts and exchange ideas.

Mr. John Gregg’s educational background includes a degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and an FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate from Rice Aviation.
